"The Sisters must be conscious of the fact that the Holy Spirit asks them to live in today's world the mystery of Mary as John lived it..."
-Father Marie Dominique Philippe
The Contemplative Sisters of Saint John desire to live a life of prayer and adoration. Their mission is to be silent witnesses of Christ's love for the Church and for all men.
Each day the Sisters gather together to participate in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, to pray in silent adoration before the Blessed Sacrament, and to sing the Divine Office. They also reserve times for solitary prayer in their cells.
