Built in 1974, the Holy Spirit Retreat Center was originally an Ursuline Convent. In 1985, the facilities were converted into a retreat house by the Diocese of Corpus Christi. Finally, in 1996, it became the guesthouse to the Priory of the Congregation of Saint John.
To be an oasis of light and love for all those who wish to come for rest and renewal in the Christian life.
We welcome and minister to...
- Persons who come for private retreats (spiritual direction is available).
- Persons who attend seminars and retreats preached by the brothers of Saint John.
- Groups seeking a peaceful environment to conduct retreats.

Directions
From Interstate 35 take Loop 20 East. Cross Highways 59 and 359. Turn left at the second traffic light after Highway 359 into Century City. Follow road up to the stop sign. Turn left up the hill, turn right at next stop sign and continue up the hill to the Retreat Center.

From Highway 83 turn onto 20. Turn right at the second traffic light into Century City. Follow road up to the stop sign. Turn left up the hill, turn right at next stop sign and continue up the hill to the Retreat Center.
From Highway 59 turn left onto Loop 20. Turn left at the second traffic light after Highway 359 into Century City. Follow road up to the stop sign. Turn left up the hill, turn right at next stop sign and continue up the hill to the Retreat Center.
